Starting To See A Difference

Starting To See A Difference

Well with my new Brooks trainers I woke up at 5.30 this morning to start my 10.6 mile training walk to work. With my new routine I am trying to hit 4 miles an hour so that is 10 miles in 2hrs 30mins. I completed this walk in 2hrs 27mins which means my average walking speed is about 4.3mph. To have hit this pace so early on in my training is a very exciting advancement. I am meeting up with an old friend, James Gilbertson, this weekend who is an Ex-Royal Marine and is now a fitness trainer and owns his own Health & Fitness company; Corporate Conditioning. He will be working with me on a training programme as well as sorting out my nutritional requirements. The real training has started and I am very excited.
