After just two small charity events prior to my departure to the US on Thursday we have leapfrogged forward and have now broken the £4,000 mark. This is amazing and I am so pleased with how it is going.

The Three Tuns put on a fantastic St. George’s Day lunch in aid of the charity and I would like to thank everyone there. From Sally-Anne and all the staff who looked after us all, Nick Dorrington (Dorris) for sorting everything out and Julian Clark for providing an amazing lunch. Thanks again to all who came and donated and please go and visit The Three Tuns if you happen to be in the area. They are in Great Hormead, Herts

All of my concentration has been going on sorting the trip out, getting all the corporate sponsorship sorted out and making sure everything is ready. My thoughts were that we would not start raising many funds for the charity until I had started walking but we are nearly at 5%.
