Day 70 – Just Keep Swimming

Day 70 – Just Keep Swimming

Day off… Relaxation. No pictures but a short video!

Breakfast

We went for breakfast on our day off. I had the biggest breakfast I think I have ever consumed. 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, french toast and some of Helen’s pancakes. Delicious. We got speaking to our waitress, who also owned the place. Karin was great. She told us about the history of the restaurant, the politics of the town we were in and also about Planet X.

Apparently, the end of the world is due and the area we are in is a safe zone. She had a lot of literature on the subject, I suppose I can look at this positively as it is something for me to contemplate as I walk for the next couple of weeks. Karin was kind enough to buy us all breakfast as what I was doing was all for a good cause. So if you happen to be in St. Johns, Arizona then please stop by at Iggy’s the best and only breakfast you can get on a Saturday in the town. Thanks again Karin and I promise to stop by again soon.

Swimming

No words can describe the fun we had on the diving board at the local swimming pool. Helen taking around 5-7 minutes to jump and the whole pool jeering her on! Hilarious. Anyway this video that Chris editied today should give you a bit of a better idea! http://vimeo.com/26213679

End of the day

We have now headed back out to the starting point for tomorrow so I should be walking through St. johns tomorrow lunchtime!

If that was the biggest breakfast you have ever encountered it must have been some breakfast. I’ve seen what you can eat!
